A correct technical approach in the close-up phase has to feature the limitation of “metabolic alkalosis” which is a critical factor in hypocalcemia at the time of calving and often resorts to utilizing anionic salts to acidify the pre-calving ration and lower the ration\u2019s overall DCAD level (anion strategy).<\/p>\n
