BIO-CHLOR: NUTRITIONAL SOLUTION (ANION STRATEGY) FOR STEAMING UP/CLOSE UP GROUP THAT PREVENTS CLINICAL HYPOCALCEMIA IN DAIRY COWS
It is necessary, before, during and after transition phase, balancing feed ration in terms of cation and anion imputs (DCAD value), in order to maintain adequate intake levels, minimize metabolic disorders and increase herd productivity.
Before calving, the optimal goal is to obtain a dry matter’s DCAD value of -8 to -12 meq/100 g.
A negative DCAD value in the feed ration helps to mobilize calcium from bones into the bloodstream. So a higher blood calcium level helps prevent hypocalcemia at calving.
BIO-CHLOR is a anions source with high palatability and with metabolizable proteins’ high level which allows to optimally acidify the cow’s organism.
BIO-CHLOR use in steaming up/close up feed rations determines an anions’ intake such as to obtain a negative difference in the diet’s Cation-Anion Balance (DCAD), it’s be able to improve calcium metabolism in the immediate phase before and after calving.
Its protein component is also able to improve metabolizable protein production of bacterial origin, so as to best satisfy the cows protein needs in this delicate phase.
The improved cow’s mineral and protein metabolism that is obtained from BIO-CHLOR use is capable of producing a better immune response and a greater cow’s dry matter ingestion in post-partum phase.
Unlike anionic salts and premixes, the excellent BIO-CHLOR digestibility maintains high ingestion’s levels, reduces metabolic disorders’ risk, including hypocalcemia’s cases, thus allowing lactation’s start with higher production levels.
GOALS:
Better immune response
Greater Dry Matter’s ingestion in prepartum period
Lower metabolic disorders’ percentage
Clinical and subclinical hypocalcemia prevention
Increased milk production in the lactation phase
