Granda Team specialists’ experience has demonstrated that TOX-REM technology is a specifically formulated and tested product which reduces the pathogenicity of toxic metabolites produced by the rumen as a result of a reduction in rumen PH which consequently kills Gram bacteria – contained therein. Subsequent intraruminal release and passage into the bloodstream induces “systemic endotoxemia” at clinically significant levels.

It is fundamental to pay particular attention to LPS (lipopolysaccharide membranes) metabolites ranked at the top of xenobiotic toxicity scale (micrograms/ml) that produce proteins in the acute phase with going on to provoke both acute and chronic effects.

By inactivating LPS and their effects at local and systemic level, it is possible to prevent the deleterious consequences resulting from systemic inflammation (vasodilation, fever, peripheral shock, lack of appetite), as well as the risk of impairing normal pre-stomach functioning already put to the test in the postpartum period due to important variations already present in the ration.
